Friday Lunch Panelist: Robert Friend

Robert Friend is a global entertainment sales, marketing and communications professional and currently serves as President of Live Entertainment Solutions Group, a consulting firm delivering long-term, sustainable growth to the non-profit entertainment industry.
Robert is a twenty-two-year Rotarian in the Southern Connecticut Rotary District and will serve as its District Governor for the 2024-2025 Rotary Year. Previously, he served as President of the Madison Rotary Club in 2008-2009, where he lead a highly successful Global Grant in the Dominican Republic. He served as the District’s Foundation Steward, followed by a seven year tenure as Assistant Governor where he worked to elevate club engagement and growth in the District. In 2017, Robert began his work as Chair of the District’s Public Image Committee, and engaged a team of business, marketing, and media professionals to grow the District's Rotary storytelling initiative. He joined the Zone 32Public Image team as an Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator (ARPIC) and co-chaired the Entertainment and Technology Committees for the Zones 28 and 32 Winter2022 Gala and Fundraiser that raised over $750,000 in support of the Rotary Foundation.
Robert was awarded Rotary District 7980’s Outstanding Rotarian Award for the 2017-18 Rotary year. He is a graduate of Boston's Emerson College and actively serves on the college's Board of Trustees. He resides in Madison, Connecticut with his wife, Maribel, together have three children, Alyssa (24); Brianna (23); and, Edward (21).
